How to Dominate the Food Dish

18 Aug

nom tactics

My weekend guests have been getting used to the food and have been eating like crazy today.  Ms Leopard Collar gets a foot in each serving side and dives in.  She got a bit of a bath after this.

Another technique, when the food dish is empty or not handy, is to chew any person body part in reach.  Noses or toeses, they try it all.

Have you ever considered putting a dab of food on your nose or toe and seeing how long it takes the kittens to discover it initially, and how many days before they come to explicitly look for it?

the simple answer is “no.” How many days I’d leave food on my nose or toes? 1) yuck 2) i have other cats 3) I’d much prefer they eat from a dish and not chew on me at all. They focus enough on my face as is, perhaps hoping I’ll lick them.
