what light throuhgh yonder window breaksOnus figured out how to get up in the tower.  Then, as I was reviewing the pictures, I realized he was purring in my lap.  They all play a lot now.  Orchard rests more than the others, but I think he is using more muscles all the time he is active, trying to control his motions.

Will Orchard eventually be able to get around as well as the others — is it just a matter of taking longer to learn, or is ultimate ability permanently less?

Judging both by his progress and videos of others with this condition, he will always be a little odd–they compensate and find ways to get around, but it is working around the lack of balance and the lurching. One person noted how her cat bobbed to eat, catching the food on the fly as the head kept in motion. This will not be an outdoor cat, but he is strong and playful.
