The Mature Kitten

02 Jun

gray on grayOpera somehow looks more mature than the others–she lacks the baby-face and has generally been pretty competent.  Plus her sleek grey hair and eyes are elegant.  I still have to remind them to check the canned food dishes or the ever-full kibble dish, not my face or Orbit’s butt when they get that empty feeling, but they have learned the basics of being cats.  They still get a morning and night bottle, but no 3 a.m. feeding.  I’ll stop the bottle soon, but no one bites it or grabs it down to their belly so they’re easier to bottle-feed than most litters have been.  Health-wise, I don’t think they need it.
