They are doing very well. No bleeding, lots of eating, and Zinky especially uses the litter box for pee. Zifra is starting to, and Zooch used the floor next to the box, but he was self-starting. Poop is still difficult or painful enough that it often needs an assisting butt wipe.
Zifra is not always interested in a bottle, but she took food, and the next time it was offered, the bottle. Everyone eats chicken and science diet canned food at some time in the day. I’ll be decreasing the bottle frequency soon. I’m no longer thinking they’re likely to fade out at any moment, so it’s time to work on life skills.
Zooch’s eye looks better for a few hours after the eyedrops, then starts to gum closed. He can see a laser dot, but even nearly blind Bussy can. They had said the cornea might heal or maybe the eye would require removal, but that was when they thought his chance of survival was slim to none. But, they did special order the Ofloxacin for him.
